Abstract:
To provide a calculation method capable of calculating a mixing rate of ferro coke in ore layers piled in a furnace.SOLUTION: Coke and ore mixed with ferro coke are alternately charged in a blast furnace and, of the coke layers and ore layers alternatively formed in the blast furnace, a ratio of the ferro coke mixed in the ore layers is calculated. In this calculation method, a CO gas utilization rate and a Hgas utilization rate are measured for at least one of the furnace gas and the furnace top gas in the blast furnace. The ratio of the ferro coke mixed in the ore layers is calculated using the CO gas utilization rate and the Hgas utilization rate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
