PURPOSE: To accurately grasp the states before and after an event by displaying symbols corresponding events in a calendar instead of dates.

CONSTITUTION: The symbol in a character/symbol memory 5 which corresponds to the event is read out by a character/symbol generating circuit 3 and a microprocessor circuit 6 sends a command so that this symbol replaces a date where an event is expected in the calendar, thereby displaying the symbol corresponding to the event in a calendar display. The symbol indicating the event is displayed instead of the date in the calendar display, the event schedule can be viewed at the same time with the calendar display, and the states before and after the event can accurately be known.
