PURPOSE: To simulate the operation of a camera in a photographed space and enable easy assignment by a display mode indicating camera work such as close-up in the same way as the actual state especially at the time of setting the camera.

CONSTITUTION: The shape in a photographed space is set by a simulation shape setting means 1. The visual point position and target point position of a camera for photographing the inside of the photographed space is set by a camera setting means 3. A display mode is assigned by a mode assigning means 3c. The image photographed by the camera is displayed on a display means 5 in the same way as the state in the actually photographed space from these set contents. Plural selectively assignable display modes are displayed simultaneously on this display means 5, and the mode assigning means 3c directly selects-assigns an optional display mode among the displayed display modes.
