Title:
CAMERA SHAKE CORRECTION CAMERA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07281243
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To perform camera shake correction and opening/closing a shutter only when the voltage value of a batery is equal to or above a specified value by measuring the voltage value of the battery before performing the camera shake correction.

CONSTITUTION: This invention is applied to a camera shake correction camera provided with a CPU 2, motor driving circuits 8 and 9, an LCD 13, angular velocity detection circuits 20 and 21, and a correction lens 102. When a release button is half depressed, the CPU 2 drives a motor to move the correction lens 102 toward a reset position and simultaneously performs battery-check in a state where the motor is driven in a direction where the shutter is closed. When the result of the battery-check is NG, the LCD 13 is totally turned off and photographing is inhibited. On the other hand, by fully depressing the release button when the result of the battery-check is OK, the shutter is opened/closed and photographing is performed while performing the camera shake correction. Since the camera shake correction is not performed in a state where the voltage is low, accuracy in the camera shake correction is kept constant.
