PURPOSE: To surely bring a film into contact with a magnetic head by constituting a pad which presses a film surface to the magnetic head so that it can rock in a direction vertical to a film traveling direction.

CONSTITUTION: When the film 2 should be stably brought into contact with the magnetic head 1 by pressing the pad 4 to the film 2, a gap is formed between a head gap and the film and becomes hindrance to the accurate write and readout of information in the case that the magnetic head 1 is inclined and attached because of the errors of parts and mounting error, etc. In such a case, by attaching the pad 4 to a pressing lever by a projection part 4a so that it can rock, the pad 4 is inclined by γ and a film contact part 4b is along the magnetic head 1. Therefore, the film 2 is stably brought into contact with the head gap.
