Abstract:
PURPOSE: To always take an attractive-looking picture having the reproduction of an atmosphere at the scene, even under any light sources by detecting the kind of the light source illuminating an object and varying a low brightness decision value in accordance with the detected light source.
CONSTITUTION: Light source detecting means 12 and 15 detecting the kind of the light source illuminating the object and the low brightness decision value setting means varying the low brightness decision value on an automatic electric flash light setting means 19, in accordance with the light source detected by the light source detecting means 12 and 15 are provided. The low brightness decision value on the automatic electric flash light emitting means 19 can be varied according to the detected light source. Moreover, an inhibiting means inhibiting the operation of the automatic electric flash light emitting means 19, when a specific light source is detected by the light source detecting means 12 and 15 is provided and when the detected light source is the specific one, the operation of the automatic electric flash light emitting means 19 is inhibited.
