To obtain a camera keeping more excellent outside appearance without spoiling various functions and without hindering the design of the outside appearance of the camera by providing an armor part having an aperture part, a transparent member attached to the aperture part and a shielding member optically shielding the periphery of the transparent member.
A camera body is covered with an armor member 1, and the aperture part 1c is formed near the upper edge part of the front side of the member 1. Behind the aperture part, that is, inside the armor part 1, the light receiving part 4 of an AF module, a finder and an objective lens part 5 are fixed on the fixing member of the camera body. Then, the transparent member 2 being a transparent window is disposed so that the front of various optical function members may be covered. The member 2 is formed of a plate-like member whose outside shape is nearly the same shape as the aperture part 1c of the member 1, fit in the aperture part 1c and integrally attached to the member 1. The outer surface of the member 2 is formed nearly on the same plane with the outer surface of the member 1, and the outside shape is regulated by the member 1 and the member 2.
