To enable a user to recognize a failure in advance by detecting subject distance distribution, predicting electronic flash light quantity at the time of photographing with electronic flash light, selectively intercepting an optical path in a finder and controlling a display means in accordance with output from a range-finding means and output from a predicting means.
A CPU 1 controls a photometric part and a range-finding part 3, and dives and controls an exposure part 8 and a focusing part 9 according to output therefrom so as to perform photographing in focus correctly with exact exposure. A zoom detection part 10 detects a zoom position and inputs zoom information in the CPU 1. The CPU 1 is provided with a display control part 1c controlling the turning on/off of segments in order to properly display various kinds of information obtained in such a way on an LCD 14 arranged between finder optical systems 13. After the image signal of a subject obtained by the sensor arrays 5a and 5b of the range-finding part 3 is A/D converted by an A/D conversion part 7, it is inputted into a CPU 1.
