Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap for hermetic seal which does not easily generate a hermetic seal failure without use of expensive gold and lead harmful to the environment.
SOLUTION: A brazing material including Sb of 5 to 20 mass%, Te of 0.01 to 5 mass%, and Sn and non-avoidable impurity as the remainder is joined with the single surface of a seal cover consisting of a metal plate 6. Preferably, the brazing material 5 is formed like a window frame. The brazing material 5 also includes preferably a very small amount of P in addition to Sb and Te.
