Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel used for a touch screen that keeps performance such as sensor sensitivity high, suppresses the increase in manufacturing cost, and prevents each pad of a touch electrode from being visually recognized by a user.SOLUTION: Each of island-like pads 11 constituting a first-direction (X direction) touch electrode 1A and a second-direction (Y direction) touch electrode 1B includes notches 13 having a rectangular wave shape at its edges. The width D2 and interval D6 of the notches correspond to the interval D1 between the island-like pads 11. At least peripheral part of each island-like pad 11 defines a mesh pattern 15, and the island-like pad 11 includes many recessed parts 16 having a mesh opening shape corresponding to the notches 13.
