The capacitive load drive circuit has a power recovering function of charging and discharging a capacitive load, by moving energy between the capacitive load and a power recovering power source, by using a power recovering inductance constituting a resonance circuit with the capacitive load, and is equipped with a plurality of power recovering power sources Vc1 and Vc2, having different voltages and a plurality of power recovering inductors L10 and L20, which are connected to the plurality of power recovering power sources Vc1 and Vc2 and constitute resonance circuits with a capacitive loads Cp, the capacitive load drive circuit having a period, in which the capacitive load is charged or discharged by using at least two power recovering inductors L10 and L20 from among the plurality of power recovering inductors L10 and L20, at the same time.
