To provide a capacitor element and a multi-layer circuit board with built-in capacitor element for preventing malfunction of an electronic device, such as a communication device, while the generation of noises is reduced.
The capacitor element includes a laminated body made up of two or more electrode layers 1 and laminated dielectric layers 2, and having two or more through-holes 3 passing in the laminated direction; and a lead-out electrode unit 4 made of conductive material for filling the through-hole 3 therewith partly. As to the lead-out electrode 4, an edge thereof in the laminated direction is projected from the surface of the laminated body, and the maximum diameter of the projection is the same as that of portion inside the through-hole in this capacitor element.
