Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize facilitation of connection and low resistance of a capacitor and improve the sealability of a sealing body in the connection between a capacitor element and an external terminal.SOLUTION: A capacitor includes: collector plates (30-1, 30-2) connected with electrode bodies (28-1, 28-2) exposed on an element end surface (26) of a capacitor element (6); and a sealing body (8) which seals an exterior case in which the capacitor element is housed. In the sealing body, a hard substrate and elastic insulators are laminated and through holes are formed. Further, connection bodies (terminals for connection 22-1, 22-2) connected by rivets (24) passing through the through holes and external terminals (20-1, 20-2) are installed. The connection bodies are pressed and fixed by the elastic insulators. Laser welding surfaces, each of which corresponds to a side surface of the collector plate, are formed at the connection bodies. Each laser welding surface is folded from a connection part connected with the rivet to separate from the elastic insulator of the sealing body. The laser welding surface and the collector plate are connected by laser welding.
