PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispose a head lamp in a retreated position by making the best use of rigidity of each member itself constituting the skeleton of the front of the car body to secure the rigidity of the front of the car body without any increase in number and weight of parts.
SOLUTION: A side part 4B of a radiator core upper rail 4 is extended from a curved corner part C obliquely backward, whereby the head lamp 26 can be mounted in the state of being wrapped round the side part of the car body and retreated. A stay member 18 is obliquely disposed extending over the side part 4B and the vertical skeleton part 6A of a radiator core side member 6 to connect one another, thereby forming a triangle truss part 19 among them, whereby the load is dispersed and transmitted dynamically efficiently to secure the rigidity in the width direction and torsional rigidity.
