Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car navigation system that can search a route which can avoid traffic congestion accompanying traffic regulations.
SOLUTION: This car navigation system is provided with a searching means 1 for searching a guidance route from current location of an owner-driven car to its destination, a display means 7c for displaying the guidance route, a regulatory information acquiring means 9 for obtaining regulatory information found in the guidance route, and an inrush link group searching means 1 for searching a 1st inrush link group located short of a 1st intersection at the entrance of a specific searched road candidate providing regulatory information, as seen from the current location. The searching means 1 is constituted so as to search a new guidance route from the current location to the destination, excluding both the specific searched road candidate and the 1st inrush link group.
