To provide a brush base material for a car-washing machine and a brush for the car-washing machine capable of removing stain such as a scale, dust and sand on the surface of an automobile, excellent in washing property and durability and hardly damaging the surface of an automobile.
The brush base material for the car-washing machine in which at least one surface of a thermoplastic synthetic fiber non-woven fabric having an average fiber diameter of 7-30 μm is coated with a thermoplastic resin contains a short fiber having a fiber length of 5 mm or shorter in the thermoplastic resin. The whole weight is 100-400 g/m2 and the surface dynamic friction resistance of the coating surface of the resin is 1-10 N.
