To an arm 21 protrusively provided on a front surface of a car washer body 1, a remote panel 22 having an operation surface 23 facing a side surface of a washed vehicle 1 is attached. A car washing start position of the car washer body 1 is set at a predetermined position forwardly moved from HP (an origin). After the car washer body 1 stops at a car washing standby position and the washed vehicle 1 stops at a predetermined stop position, if washing conditions are inputted by operating the operation surface of the remote panel 22, a predetermined car washing action is executed to the washed vehicle 1. According to the above mentioned structure, the car washer body 1 stand by at the car washing start position where the remote panel 22 can be operated, so that car washing time can be shortened.
