Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car washing machine, by which an efficient blushing can be carried out by bringing a rocker blush into a sufficient contact with a lower side surface of a vehicle while avoiding the breakage of a projection, which is located on the upper surface of the vehicle and may interfere with the rocker brush and may cause the breakage, by automatically keeping the rocker brush away from the projection by easily and exactly recognizing the projection based on its width in the forward and backward directions and its level.
SOLUTION: The car washing machine comprises the projection detecting means for detecting the projection located on the upper surface of the vehicle, and the control means for carrying out the required avoidance movement of the rocker brush for the projection when the width of the projection in the forward and backward directions of the vehicle detected by means of the projection detecting means is not larger than the required value and at least a part of the projection is not higher than the required level.
