Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car washing machine capable of automatically adjusting the height of an operation box to improve operability without a vehicle height detecting gate provided with an expensive vehicle height sensor.
SOLUTION: The hood height of a vehicle 2 entering a stop position is detected by an accessory determination device 41, the shape of the vehicle 2 is determined from the changing locus of the height, and the height of the operation box 23 is adjusted based on the determination on the shape. Accordingly, the height of the operation box 23 can be automatically adjusted without a conventional vehicle height detecting gate, and the operability of the operation box 23 can be improved by raising the height of the operation box 23 when the vehicle 2 is a one-box type car or a mini-van type car whose driver's seat is positioned higher than that of a standard-sized car.
