Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent bending of a license plate when the front surface of a vehicle is brushed and to automatically release a caught state even when a side brush is caught by an uneven part on the front surface of the vehicle, in a car washing machine equipped with a pair of right and left side brushes.
SOLUTION: The front surface of the vehicle V is brushed when the rotating pair of right and left rotating side brushes 25L and 25R move oppositely from the proximity on the center line to the right and left sides of the vehicle V. When the movements are started, the left side brush 25L rotates clockwise in the plane view, the right side brush 25R rotates counterclockwise, and thus the bending of the license plate P is prevented. When a previously set time elapses, rotation direction of each of side brushes 25L and 25R is switched to the opposite direction.
