Title:
CARBON BLACK DISPERSION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3857789
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject dispersion useful for calligraphy, ink, conductive material, containing water, carbon black and a water-soluble nylon.
SOLUTION: This dispersion comprises at least water or N-methyl-2- pyrrolidone as a dispersion medium, carbon black and a water soluble nylon as a protective colloid for carbon black. The dispersion extremely reduces the amount of a resin as the protective colloid, in the case of use as a solution for calligraphy, improves the movement of a writing brush, provides a beautiful blot, hardly solidifies an ink after allowing a writing brush to stand with the ink and readily loosens the writing brush in reuse. The dispersion, in the case of use as a printing ink, has excellent fluidity, is convenient in handling during printing, causes no problem of corrosion due to the needlessness of the use of calcium chloride as a gelatinization inhibitor and also produces no problem of reduction in pH owing to no use of a PVA.
