Abstract:
SOLUTION: A carbon short fiber wet type nonwoven fabric has carbon short fibers in an amount of 10 mass% or more and 98 mass% or less with respect to whole fibers, a tensile strength in a flow direction of 0.1kN/m or more and less than 5.0kN/m, and a largest point elongation of 1.0% or more at the measurement of the tensile strength in the flow direction.EFFECT: A carbon short fiber wet type nonwoven fabric can be obtained which exhibits excellent molding fluidity when it is processed into a carbon fiber-reinforced resin (CFRP), and has excellent strength and uniformity after it is CFRP processed.SELECTED DRAWING: None
