To solve problems such that conventionally a device for treating industrial waste materials such as sewage sludge, plant sludge, food residues, garbage, wood dusts, chips, bamboo, etc., a rotary kiln type device is known as the device capable of treating a large treating amount per day, however, the device has problems that the production cost, installation space and running cost are expensive since the whole device is large, and also has defects that the amounts of generation of exhaust gas and CO2are large.

This carbonizing oven heated by using the electric heating is provided by building a dehydrating/drying tube, heating tube for gas treatment and a carbonization-treating tube as one unit in the heating oven to improve thermal efficiency, and also heating to ≥900°C by using a heater consisting of a silicon carbide-based heat-generating body. Also, by constructing the above 3 kinds of tubes with a stainless raw material, the waste materials containing much water content can be treated in a good efficiency. The waste material-treating device by using the carbonizing oven is also provided.
