Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent an unjust use of a card, by providing a setting means and an input means of the identification data to a card storing case and then erasing the identification data when no incidence is obtained between the set data and the input data and when the card is drawn out of the case. CONSTITUTION:The cards 3 are stored in a case 2 of a card device which is used for a transaction with an automatic cash depositing/paying machine, etc. The case 2 contains in an identification data setting part 12 and an identification data input part 6. When the card is used, an identification data 6 is fed through the part 6. Then a coincidence circuit 13 decides the coincidence between the input identification data and the set identification data. If no coincidence is obtained, a detecting switch 11 detects that the card is drawn out of the case. Thus a magnetic head 8 is driven to erase the identification data recorded on the card 3. Therefore an unjust use of the card 3 is discriminated. In such a way, an unjust use of the card can be effectively prevented.
