PURPOSE: To prevent the perforating position from being dislocated at every card due to inertia and a sliding resistance by executing a perforating operation while carrying the card.
CONSTITUTION: When the tip of a card 2 is detected by a position sensor 21, a control circuit starts to count a pulse signal outputted in accordance with a slit from an encoder sensor 23. Subsequently, in accordance with a moving distance L1 of the card 2 determined in advance, counting is executed up to the count number, and also, at the time of count-up, the control is switched so that a motor 11 is driven in a low speed mode, and the card 2 is carried by being decelerated to a prescribed low speed V2. While carrying the card 2 in a low speed mode, counting is executed up to the count number correspond ing to a moving distance L2 which reaches a perforated position of the card 2, and also, at the time of count-up, a perforating operation is executed by driving a punch unit 20, and driving of the motor 11 is stopped. In such a way, a carried card can be perforated with high accuracy.
