Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the card processor which can discriminate whether a card is the card pulled back illegally or a card to which normal value information is updated.
CONSTITUTION: The card processor for processing a card having a magnetic stripe part 19 which can execute read and write is provided with a reading circuit 21 for reading value information recorded in a recording part 19B by throwing in the card, a carrying device for holding the thrown-in card read by the reading circuit 21, and returning the card in which updated value information is recorded to throw-in person, a writing circuit 22 for writing the updated value information after a prescribed transaction is executed, based on the value information read by the reading circuit 21, and a CPU 20 for writing card in-processing information to the card thrown into the reading circuit 21, and executing control for eliminating the card in-processing information of the card returned by a returning means.
