Abstract:

To operate a forklift truck while synchronizing face movement with car body traveling according to the intention of an operator by synchronously controlling the face movement with the car body traveling at an optional speed and controlling the traveling speed of the car body so as not to exceed a maximum face moving speed.

A car body traveling amount inputted from a car body traveling amount detecting means 13 is calculated and the traveling speed of the car body is calculated. If the calculated car body traveling speed exceeds a maximum face moving speed as a preset push-pull cylinder maximum work speed, deviation between the exceeding amount of the car body traveling speed and the maximum face moving speed is calculated. Then, an acceleration value corresponding to the deviation is calculated and, by subtracting the acceleration value corresponding to the deviation by an acceleration command value based on the control input of the accelerator, a car speed upper limit is calculated. By outputting this upper limit as accelerator output signal to a traveling chopper device 26 and a traveling motor 27, the traveling speed of the car body is prevented from exceeding the maximum face moving speed.
