Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of welding work by providing a roller freely rollable for the side of a rail, an energizing member to press-contact on the side of the rail from the outside and a driving device to drive the driving roller on the carriage device.
CONSTITUTION: The carriage device 3 detects magnetism of a magnet 12 stuck to the welding position of a steel-frame column 1 and the part of an inlet, etc., of a curve of the rail 2 by a magnetic sensor and control driving of the driving device 7 by a control part mounted on the inside. A welding robot 4 is stopped at the object mobile welding operation position and the welding robot 4 is moved at the proper moving speed by stopping it or changing its traveling speed according to a detected magnetic signal. The carriage device 3 is moved while regulating the moving speed automatically, by which the steel-frame column 1 is welded automatically by the welding robot 4.
