To provide a carriage in which β angle can be adjusted without adjusting the supporting position of a guide shaft, and a recorder equipped with the carriage.

A supporting shaft 10 penetrates a recording head 2 and a carriage 1 and supports the recording head 2 with respect to the carriage 1. First and second holes 2f, 2g are made at positions where the supporting shaft 10 penetrates the recording head 2. A first bearing member 13 for adjusting βangle is fitted in the second hole and the supporting shaft 10 is inserted into a third hole 130 made in the member 13. When the first bearing member 13 for adjusting β angle turns, longitudinal direction of the hole 130 inclines from the carrying direction and the supporting shaft 10 is displaced. Consequently, the recording head 2 turns in the direction of β angle with respect to the carriage 1 thus adjusting parallelism between the head face and the recording face.
