Abstract:
To improve safety of travel of a carriage self-traveling on a track.
Bodies to be detected (sensor metal fittings 11a-11d) are arranged along a track 2 where a carriage 1 travels, and the carriage 1 is provided with sensors (magnetic detection sensors 12a-12d) for detecting the bodies to be detected. Then, when the bodies to be detected are not detected by the sensors while the carriage 1 is stopped, the departure of the carriage 1 is inhibited. Also, when the bodies to be detected cannot be detected anymore by the sensors while the carriage 1 travels, the carriage 1 is braked (decelerated or stopped).
