Abstract:
To provide a carrier tape roll body which holds the information of components enclosed in a carrier tape, irrespective of the number of remaining components, without a holder such as a reel.SOLUTION: A carrier tape roll body 42 includes: a roll body 44 in which a carrier tape 27, having components enclosed in a respective plurality of pockets formed at constant intervals, is wound in a roll shape; and a memory body 45 which is provided at the end part of the roll body 44 on the center side of the carrier tape 27, wound in a roll shape, and can be read and written by radio communication. The memory body 45 is arranged at a position closer to the center side end part of the roll body 44, as compared with a component enclosed at the closest position to the center side end part of the roll body 44 of the carrier tape 27 wound in a roll shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
