To provide a cart for elevating stairs capable of smoothly moving the steps such as the stairs in the state carrying loads.
The cart for elevating stairs is equipped with a backrest part 10 having an upper pulley 52 provided above a handle 21, a lower pulley 51 provided below the handle 21, a first string-like body 41 such as a wire hanged on the upper pulley 52 and a second string-like body 42 such as a wire hanged on the lower pulley 51. One end of the first string-like body 41 is connected with the handle 21 and another end of the string-like body 41 is connected with a leg part 3. One end of the second string-like body 42 is connected with the handle 21 independently of the first string-like body 41 and another end of the second string-like body 42 is connected with the leg part 3. By hanging the tip (lower end) of the leg 3 on the upper step and sliding the handle 21, the second string-like body 42 pulls the leg 3 through the lower pulley, moves the leg 3 downward to the backrest part 10 and a loading platform 11 is raised from the lower step to the upper step.
