A carwash instrument 1 includes a washing head 11 holding a foaming body 5 between a mounting cover 4 which is mounted to an elastic cover 3, and a washing body 431. In the carwash instrument 1, the mounting cover 4 has a frustum shape formed by overlapping an inner frustum side face 42 and an outer frustum side face 41 having flexibility. The inner frustum side face 42 and the outer frustum side face 41 are joined at a lower-periphery edge, an upper-periphery edge is opened, and an insertion slit 411 extending from the upper-periphery edge in a bus direction is provided only in the outer frustum side face 41. In the elastic cover 3, elastic cover end edge portions 331 which are confronted in a circumferential direction, are formed by at least one dividing slit 33 extending from the lower-periphery edge in the bus direction. The mounting cover 4 is mounted to the elastic cover 3 by being gradually inserted from a gap in the elastic cover end edge portions 331 from the insertion slit 411 between the inner frustum side face 42 and the outer frustum side face 41.
