PURPOSE: To easily change a metallic die and to execute it at a low cost by constituting the parts such as a die which have been attached to a base plate to be attached to a press device, so as to be attachable and detachable, and also constituting the parts such as a die, so as to be changeable with a cassette type.

CONSTITUTION: In case of executing press working of different products, in the upper die 1, a screw 12 and a knock pin 13 are detached and a stripper plate 11 is removed from a stripper holder 9, a screw 5 and a knock pin 6 are detached and the upper die 4 is removed from the upper base plate 3. In stead of the foregoing, other upper die whose shape is different is attached to the plate 3, and a stripper plate which is well-adapted to this upper die is attached to the stripper holder 9. Also, in the lower die, a die holder 15 is removed from the lower base plate 14 by loosening a screw 16, and simultaneously, the lower die 19 is removed by loosening a screw 17. Instead of these die holder and lower die, other die holder and lower die are attached. In this way, a press metallic die is constituted as that of an entirely different working shape, and press working of a different shape is executed.
