Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent deposition of coating to be problem and provide castable refractories for preheater of cement production more inexpensive than silicon carbide castable obtaining good result reduced in coating deposition in fireclay brick which has been used hitherto in lining refractories for preheater of cement production.
CONSTITUTION: In the objective castable refractories for cement production composed of MgO-Al2O3 based spinel clinker, alumina clinker and alumina cement, MgO-Al2O3 based spinel clinker having ≤3μm grain size is used as the spinel clinker and alumina cement is blended at an amount of 5-20wt.% and MgO value in chemical component of the resultant refractories is kept in the range of 6-48wt.%.
