PURPOSE: To drastically improve the productivity and to manufacture a high quality casting in high precision and high efficiency by pressurizing chamber and at the same time, evacuating a pressure chamber after the head part of a stopper is supported by a clamping means.
CONSTITUTION: After plural stoppers 4 horizontally and parallel lined is inserted in a mold 1 through a pouring basin part 1a in the mold 1, molten metal is filled into the pouring basin part 1a. Successively, the pressurizing chamber 2 is laid on the evacuating chamber 7 and after the head parts of the stoppers 4 are supported by the clamping means 5, the inner part in the pressurizing chamber 2 is pressurized and at the same time, the inner part of the evacuating chamber 7 is evacuated. Thereafter, by ascending the clamping means 5, the stoppers 4 are pulled out from the mold 1 and the molten metal is top-poured into cavities 1b in the mold 1 at high speed and filled up the cavities 1b. Thereafter, the mold 1 is taken out of the evacuated chamber 7 and the restriction of the mold 1 by a mold clamping means is released and shake-out is executed. Plural castings without casting defect can be cast at the same time.
