To provide a casting device and a casting method where, when a circular hole is formed by casting, a draft angle upon casting is reduced as much as possible so as to reduce a machining margin in the poststage to the inside face of the circular hole, thus the exposure amount of cavities is reduced.
A bore molding die 5 is set in the part to be formed with a cylinder bore 3 so as to cast-mold a cylinder block 1. The bore molding die 5 has a cylindrical outer die 7 and an inner die 9 stored into the outer die 7 freely movably. The outer die 7 has an opening part 7c at a part in the circumferential direction of the cylindrical part, and the inner die 9 is provided with a projecting piece 9b inserted into the opening part 7c. After a molten metal fed into the die cavity is solidified, the inner die 9 is pulled out from the outer die 7, and successively, the outer die 7 is pulled out from the cylinder bore 3.
