Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to heat a molten metal in a feeder head with a good efficiency when cast processing is performed.SOLUTION: A cast processing apparatus 40 has a heat insulation block body 92 which blocks a feeder head 48 formed between an upper die 50 and each of first to fourth slide dies 44a to 44d, and holds heaters 100a, 100b inserted into the feeder head 48. A molten metal L in the feeder head 48 is thermally insulated in such a manner that the molten metal contacts the heat insulation block body 92 of which a temperature is elevated by transmission of heat from the heaters 100a, 100b thereto. Meanwhile, it is preferable to control a heat release value of the heaters 100a, 100b so that the heat insulation block body 92 has a temperature lower than a solidus line temperature of the molten metal L by 1 to 100°C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
