Abstract:
To provide a catalyst carrier which can improve the exhaust gas cleaning rate of a catalyst and has high strength and on which positions of projections need not be considered.
This catalyst carrier is obtained by stacking a corrugated plate 3 and a flat plate 2 alternately to form many cells 4 between the plates 3 and 4 and coating the inner wall surface of each of the cells 4 with the catalyst. Projections 9 are formed only on the slope parts 6a, 6b, 8a, 8b of the plate 3 arranged between the adjacent flat plates 2.
