Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a catalytic material for oxidizing ascorbic acid which has a function of oxidizing ascorbic acid and is able to exclude stably the disturbance by ascorbic acid on the occasion, for example, when an organism component is determined indirectly by a peroxide measuring method.
CONSTITUTION: More than one kind of metal porphin selected from metal tetraquis (sulfophenyl) porphyrin, metal tetraquis (carboxyphenyl) porphin, metal protoporphyrin, and their derivatives coordinated with metals including cobalt, manganese, iron, copper, ruthenium, zinc, nickel, etc., is fixed on a carrier including glass beads, silica gel, and ion exchange resin.
