Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a cathode-ray tube by which an alternating electrical field can be shielded sufficiently and which has high reliability to long-term driving.
CONSTITUTION: An alternating electrical field generated from a deflection yoke 7 is reduced sufficiently due to an electrical field shielding effect by means of an electrically conductive film 8 formed in a funnel part 1. Even if a dimensional error is caused in an insulating sheet 9 arranged between this electrically conductive film 8 and the deflection yoke 7 when it is manufactured, the degradation of an insulating performance with the lapse of time due to dirt and dust and so on can be prevented by means of insulating silicon grease 30 filled in a space between the electrically conductive film 8 and the insulating sheet 9.
