PURPOSE: To fetch a CATV service as one for ATM exchange network.

CONSTITUTION: This CATV control system provided with a CATV head end device 2 sending CATV information independent at every channel on the ATM exchange network 1 and a TV terminal 3 capable of receiving the CATV information can receive the CATV service and sent the required channel information to the ATM exchange network 1 by setting it during the call signal from the TV terminal 3. Then, the ATM exchange network 1 analyzes the information from the TV termibal 3 to be connected to the channel of the CATV head end device 2 corresponding to the required channel information, thereby providing the CATV information from the CATV head end device 2 to the TV terminal 3.
