Abstract:
PURPOSE: To pick up an object moving at a high speed without using a strobo by opening an electronic shutter synchronously with a trigger signal and processing signals of all elements when the signal charges are stored in all picture elements by one frame in a CCD image pickup element.
CONSTITUTION: When a trigger signal is inputted to a trigger signal input circuit 6, a synchronized timing signal is outputted to a drive control circuit 2, a VOD electronic shutter circuit 4 and a synchronizing signal generating circuit 5. When a preset storage time elapses, a charge read signal is superimposed on a vertical transfer signal outputted from the circuit 2 to a CCD image pickup element 1. One-frame share of signal charges stored in the CCD image pickup element 1 are all read to a vertical transfer path. Then the charge is outputted from the CCD image pickup element 1 to the video signal processing circuit 3 as a video signal and a television signal is outputted from the circuit 3.
