Abstract:
To provide a cell moving apparatus equipped with a camera unit, a head unit and a moving mechanism therefor, where the apparatus is made compact.SOLUTION: A cell moving apparatus 1 moves cells housed in a first container C1 in X direction and puts them into a second container C2. The cell moving apparatus 1 includes a moving mechanism 3, a head unit 4 and a camera unit 5. The moving mechanism 3 has a body part 31 movable in X direction, and an accessory part 32 installed to the body part 31 in a movable manner in Y direction. The camera unit 5 captures an image of at least cells housed in the first container C1. The head unit 4 has a head 41 that picks cells from the first container C1 and holds the cells, and releases the held cells into the second container C2. Both the camera unit 5 and the head unit 4 are installed to the accessory part 32 in an arrangement of an overlapped manner with each other in the X direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
