The centerless grinder 1 includes: a bed 10; drive units 20, 30 provided on the bed 10; a regulating wheel 40 attached to a rotary shaft 22 extended from the first drive unit 20; a grinding wheel 50 attached to a rotary shaft 32 extended from the second drive unit 30, with the outer peripheral surface thereof placed to face an outer peripheral surface of the regulating wheel; a blade 60 placed between the regulating wheel 40 and the grinding wheel 50; and a cover 70 housing the regulating wheel 40 and the grinding wheel 50, wherein a workpiece W is ground by the grinding wheel 50 while the workpiece W is rotationally supported between the regulating wheel 40 and the blade 60. The regulating wheel 40 and grinding wheel 50 are separated from the bed 10 and drive units 20, 30 by the cover.
