Abstract:
PURPOSE:To secure an accurate treatment of the takings with every responsible person by having an automatic opening of the cash register at the moment when the circuit is returned to the on-line mode from the off-line mode. CONSTITUTION:Plural units of cash register 1 calculate the takings with every responsible person, and store controller 2 is connected to these cash registers to give the prescribed control based on the information given from register 1. At the same time, RAM3 is incorporated to give the temporary memorization to register 1 for the opening message according to the opening of register 1 when the circuit between register 1 and controller 2 is in the off-line mode. Then the opening message memorized in RAM3 is transmitted to controller 2 by the polling signal which is sent to register 1 opened in the off-line mode from controller 2. Thus register 1 is opened automatically at the moment when the circuit is returned to the on-line mode from the off-line mode, ensuring the correct treatment of the takings with every responsible person.
