PURPOSE: To shorten the occupation time of a transmission line, to reduce the load on a terminal management device, and to improve the quickness of service by transmitting totalized data from each terminal equipment only in a certain time zone determined for the terminal equipment.

CONSTITUTION: A terminal equipment 1 always monitors a timer 6 for the purpose of distributing the load to prevent concentration of transmission to a certain time and reads out the totalized value in the pertinent time zone from the time zone totalization data area in a non-volatile storage device 3 at the time obtained by adding the numerical value in the least significant digit of the terminal number stored in the device 3 to a preliminarily determined transmission time. Then, it is transmitted as the totalized value of sales data to a terminal management device 2. Thus, the terminal equipment 1 occupies a transmission line 5 only for a short time, and load distributed input is performed in the terminal management device 2.
