To provide a centrifugal ejector with small loss in primary fluid for effectively compressing secondary fluid and to provide a fluid compression method using the centrifugal ejector, and to provide a highly efficient cold heat generation system and a vacuum pump system each having the centrifugal ejector.
The centrifugal ejector 1 comprises: a nozzle 7 from which secondary fluid is jetted; a rotor 6 rotated around a rotational shaft 5a as a center; and a housing 12 into which the rotor 6 is fitted. A clearance 11 is formed between the rotor 6 and the housing 12, and the primary fluid compresses the secondary fluid lower in full pressure than that of the primary pressure. Part of the primary fluid is jetted from the clearance 11, and the secondary fluid is supplementarily compressed by the part of the primary fluid jetted from the clearance 11.
