Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic component capable of suppressing a coating layer from being peeled from a machining surface.SOLUTION: A ceramic component comprises: a ceramic substrate including one ceramic layer or a plurality of laminated ceramic layers; a first coating layer formed in a part of a surface of the ceramic substrate; and a second coating layer formed in a part of a side surface of the ceramic substrate. The first coating layer is continuously formed to a first region on a surface side of a machining surface serving as a side surface of the ceramic substrate. The second coating layer is continuously formed to a second region on a rear surface side of the machining surface serving as the side surface of the ceramic substrate. One of the first coating layer and the second coating layer is formed on at least a part of the other of the first coating layer and the second coating layer in the machining surface of the ceramic substrate.
