Abstract:
To provide a ceramic electronic component capable of suppressing a decrease in the continuity rate of an internal electrode layer, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: A ceramic electronic component includes a laminated chip in which dielectric layers and internal electrode layers having Ni as a main phase are alternately laminated, at least one of the dielectric layers has a secondary phase containing Si at the interface with the adjacent internal electrode layer, and the internal electrode layers adjacent to the dielectric layers having the secondary phase is equipped with a layer containing more than any one of species of additive element of Au, Pt, Cu, Fe, Cr, Zn, and In at a portion of the interface that contacts the secondary phase.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
